SOEL Counselling and Wellnes
Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to carry it alone. SOEL means to stand beside — to gently accompany — and that belief shapes everything we do here. Whether you're navigating anxiety, working through a difficult season, or trying to reconnect with a partner across cultural differences, we offer a space to be heard without judgment, met with empathy rather than advice about where you should be. We offer culturally attuned, bilingual counselling in Japanese and English — individual and couples support, paced to fit you, never rushed and never one-size-fits-all. Reaching out can be the hardest part. This is simply an invitation to start with a conversation.えるー
Counselling Service
We work with anxiety and panic, depression, and women's-specific experiences including menopause and postpartum depression, as well as relationship issues — often alongside self-criticism, perfectionism, and the pressures of navigating life across cultures.

Building a life together across cultures brings a unique kind of richness — and a unique kind of friction. At SOEL, we work with couples navigating intercultural and international relationships, including partners bridging Asian and western cultural backgrounds, to help turn cultural difference from a source of conflict into a source of connection.
$120.00 for 50 minute session
Adjusting to life in a new country is rarely a straight line. Alongside individual and couples counselling, SOEL will be offering group counselling designed specifically for immigrants navigating this experience together.
These groups will offer a space to explore the cultural differences that shape daily life abroad — from communication styles and family expectations to identity, belonging, and the quiet pressure to adapt. Members will have the chance to connect with others facing similar challenges, share what's often difficult to put into words with people back home, and build practical skills for navigating cultural transition with more ease and self-compassion.
Start With a Conversation
Every inquiry is confidential. Whether you're not sure where to start or already know what you're looking for, feel free to reach out — there's no pressure, just a conversation.
